Host Your Event at Our Historic Brewpub
Give Your Guests a True Colorado Experience
Need a place to host a group dinner or event? Looking for an authentic Colorado venue that offers a mountain experience but is close to Denver? Serving large group parties is one of our specialties.
El Rancho offers a true mountain atmosphere (with the best views of any venue you’ll find), and we’re only about 25 minutes outside of Denver. Not to mention, we are located right next to the Comfort Inn Suites Golden West; which makes us the perfect venue for wedding parties, small conferences, or groups who just prefer a short, scenic walk to their event from their accommodations.
We have a variety of space options to suit your needs; from a small private room that seats up to 27, to a complete buy-out of the venue which could accommodate 500 people; and numerous options in between. Check out our floor plans below; or contact us to discuss how we can help you with the perfect solution for hosting your event!
Private Event Floor Plans
Private Dining Room
Just off the brewing room on the main floor, there is a small private room that seats 27 boardroom style. It overlooks the sunken beer garden and has a door so the room can be completely closed off; which makes this the ideal spot for small private meetings or events. It is the room designated as “Main Office” in the diagram below.
The main floor is where our main restaurant is located. It is an open floor plan with wall-to-wall windows overlooking our famous view of the Continental Divide. It is decorated in log cabin style and offers a very “Colorado” feel.
With the existing restaurant seating, the main room can seat 235. There is a separate semi-private bar that seats an additional 95 and includes a cozy fireplace. Additionally, we have a mountain-view outdoor deck that, weather permitting, can seat an additional 70.
The lower level is reserved exclusively for group events. It has two banquet rooms with seating for 135 and 85. Additionally, there is access to our outdoor sunken beer garden.
Whether you’re coming for the food, the brews, or a little bit of both; we’ve got a wide variety.

El Rancho was built in 1948 by the Jahnke family as a trading post. They sold the building in November 1953, to a family that kept it until 1988. The historic building was owned and operated by various families until May of 2015, when the Vincent family took over; and, after a huge renovation, opened El Rancho as a brew pub in November of 2015.
The updated El Rancho is dedicated to serving the community as a gathering place, preparing tasty meals, producing quality craft beer, and keeping Colorado great.
